Don't ask me why but it has been impossible to buy this size, the 1 1/2 qt saucepan, unless you buy the large set which includes it. This is the perfect size for cooking soup for two, heating sauces, etc. The l qt is too small for most tasks. I bought two since who knows when I'll see it again. I've been pleased with Circulon so far. Just make sure you wipe the mirror-finish cover dry right after washing it or you will get spots.
