I bought it mainly for spices but did use it first for coffee beans when I was having trouble with my burr grinder. Since I'm used to turning a wheel on the burr grinder to get the level of grind I need, I had to experiment a couple of times to get it right with this grinder but the result was consistent and evenly ground coffee beans. I used them in my french press and it was perfect. I'll probably keep this exclusively for spices since I already have a burr grinder ...more

After our Krups coffee maker broke three times and we had to live without coffee when it was being repaired I decided I neeeded a backup plan. So I purchased this just to have for emergencies. I add a touch of sugar or caramel syrup to the milk before frothing and it's awesome! For those who think it's not as good as the coffee shop frothed milk I disagree. It really depends on what you use. If I use half and half the froth is much richer and thicker. The fact that it doesn't cost me $3 for a cappuccino makes it a much sweeter deal :) ...more
