We have it sitting across two burners on the stove, and is moved only in the rare occasions when we need more than 2 burners or we are using 2 large pots at the same time. We cook breakfast on it, lunch and sometimes dinner, including pancakes, turkey bacon, toast, omelettes, noodles, steaks, fried rice, fish,burgers, vegetables, and every other thing we can think of, other than sauces.
