If you would like something that is very neutral, but not super plain, then these would be great. The biggest problem with ordering Corelle through the mail is that many times the dishes aren't sufficiently padded, and you end up with breakage. As anyone knows who has used Corelle, it's not like breaking a regular stoneware plate. It shatters like glass, and when you open the box, it gets tiny pieces EVERYWHERE.
