I bought this set to replace my cheaper version of skillets and pots that had handles heavier than the actual skillets & pots (STUPID design). These are nice, heavy pots and skillets with great non-stick coating. The strainer lids come in VERY handy. The one downside I found with this set: the largest stock pot doesn't have a strainer lid. I make a lot of pasta (and generally in large amounts) since my family loves to eat all things Italian, and I still have to dirty one more cooking item with our strainer instead ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2007-12-22 Summary: great buy ... I've had this set for a year and a half now and I think they are great, especially for the price. (But I got them on sale for half off!) Absolutely nothing sticks to the nonstick interiors and the surface coating has been very durable, no scratches or chips. My only problem is that the color darkened on the the pieces I have tended to use more often. But this isn't really a big issue since otherwise they have far exceeded my expectations. ...more

The selling feature for me was the strain and pour feature of the glass lids. I opted for this set over the more expensive, heavier set because of this feature and so far - no regrets. I follow the provided use and care instructions and have had nothing but easy prep and easy clean up. Love the RED!!! ...more
