However, on a cool Sierra morning, served on a toasted sourdough English Muffin, they're pretty darn good! I prepare as the directions indicate with one added step: just before serving, I drain any excess water. They turn out reasonably firm and very hot. They are not as good as home-made unless your cooking skills need improvement. Also, they are too expensive to replace home cooking. But they are very good for camping, either light camping like backpacking or other types of camping when you don't want to make a mess.
