It was under the Pyrex name when I bought it but looks the same and, according to other reviews, is produced by the same manufacturer. I owned a couple other models which failed after a year or two. I learned by these failures to carefully observe two rules; don't get the cable damp and don't exceed the 392 degree heat limit.
